My Story
I haven’t always been into skin care and beauty needs. I liked it but never imagined I would be doing what I do today.
As a young woman, I was an athlete and a horse lover. I worked hard in my corporate finance position at the local air force base right out of college. It was around that time that I was introduced to learning more about skin care. I had trouble with my skin in college and still struggled with it until someone approached me with a new routine. I jumped at the chance to learn more. I loved the skin care and have used it successfully for years.
After working as a civilian with the Air Force for several years, I went to graduate school to pursue math education. I have two graduate degrees in math and education, one is MAT in Secondary Education and the other one is an MS in Mathematics from Miami University of Ohio.
I became a math teacher at the high school level for 6 years before teaching at a nearby university. I never imagined I would leave teaching. However, a pivotal time in my life after I was newly married, I was working long days as a teacher. We wanted to start a family and direct sales came into my life. I didn’t quit teaching right away but eventually did and pursued leadership in direct sales to have the ability to stay at home with our family.
My husband and I have two beautiful boys, teens now. I couldn’t believe that God gave me two boys! They became my why.
Being able to be home with my boys was amazing. The experience of motherhood is a special one and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I few years ago, I became a bit restless. I had lost both my mother and my father and realized that if I were to continue in direct sales, it would have to be for a larger purpose. That pivotal moment was when Glam, Face and Grace was born. Creating my business allowed me to pursue sales from a perspective that embodied who I was from inside out!

I believe your outer beauty is a reflection of your inner beauty. As the years have passed, I believe a big part of why people say “You look more and more beautiful every year,” is because God has done work in my heart! God glammed up my heart and my face reflects it.
I have also been doing bridal makeup for over 10 years. It is a joy to help other women have skin they love and design a color look that helps them feel and look confident on their very special day.
Enriching women’s lives and helping them feel beautiful is my outlet from a house of boys and it is FUN! Glam, Face and Grace is a platform that allows me to join my inner beauty (my faith) to the joy of helping women feel confident and beautiful on the outside too!
